This is the tale of one brave and ugly spud who wanders far across the farm in search of new vegetable buddies.

The book tells the story of a young potato on the search for new friends. But unfortunately, he keeps being excluded because he looks different from the other vegetables. Eventually, with perseverance and some encouragement from a sweet potato, he convinces the other vegetables that they should all celebrate their differences.   

 

The story uses rhyme and bright illustrations to  promote kindness and understanding in a fun and enjoyable way.
